I tried to say hello to you today
but you never even looked my way

I wonder what has become of you

I walked right passed you on the street
But all you did was stare at your feet

The pain you caused me has subsided
There was nowhere to go, I could no longer deny it

I tried to call out your name
You walked on by, full of shame

To tell you I'm alright, it is all better again
And that the biggest disappointment was losing a friend.

I just wanted to chat , and see how you are
to ask if you wanted to grab a drink at the bar
